We often think that celebrities, despite their talent, aren’t the brightest bunch of people; however, some went down the academic path before the fame and aren’t given credit for their exploits in school and university. John Cleese graduated from Downing College at Cambridge with a law degree, and despite his comedic genius, he was also touted as an astute academic.
Cleese would also go on to meet Graham Chapman at Cambridge, with the duo going on to write the famous ‘Monty Python’.
